With more flexibility and clarity, you can surface the right insights and execute the right steps, exactly when you need them — all without leaving your workflow.
In this guide, you'll learn:
Why Advanced Sequences matter for your daily prospecting
What’s new compared to previous sequence flows
How to customize sequences for yourself and your team
What's changing and why?
Every sales team has its own rhythm and methodology when it comes to outbound.
With that in mind, we’ve redesigned Advanced Sequences to bring more flexibility, structure, and visibility to your outreach process—so you can work the way that suits your team best, without limitations.
Starting now, Advanced Sequences will become the new default experience.
Our goal is to make this transition as smooth and intuitive as possible, by removing the common blockers that were previously slowing teams down, and adding new features gradually.
Advanced Sequences is a major upgrade to the previous version because it allows you to:
Chain multiple actions on the same day without unnecessary delays
Add structured call steps to build true multichannel sequences
Preview every step of your sequence and catch errors before launch
Launch with confidence, knowing your variables and personalizations are spot on
Your feedback is more valuable than ever. If you have thoughts, questions, or ideas, feel free to reach out to our support team by the chat. We're listening and iterating fast.
Differences from the current sequences
Step builder - Decrease delay between two steps
One of the most common frustrations with the previous version of sequences was the mandatory 1-day delay between steps. This limitation felt rigid and out of sync with how sales teams actually work—especially in multi-channel workflows where timing is everything. Forcing a 24-hour wait between each step broke the flow and often led to lost momentum.
🍬 That’s why we’ve introduced a new delay picker, allowing you to set the time between steps in minutes, hours, or days. Now, you’re in full control of your outreach cadence—with the precision needed to stay timely, relevant, and effective.
💡 To ensure optimal deliverability and avoid spam-like behavior, a minimum delay of 5 minutes is required between two steps in a sequence.
Step builder - Call step
Until now, sales teams couldn’t include call steps within their sequences—forcing them to manage calls manually, outside of their core workflow.
Thousands of users have voiced the same frustration: without call steps, sequences feel incomplete, and reps lose efficiency and tracking visibility.
🍬 With the introduction of call steps, you can now integrate calls directly into your sequences. Each call step will automatically generate a manual task, helping you stay on track, follow up at the right moment, and drive better results—without the extra admin work.
💡Rules:
Call task from sequence must be manually validated to allow sequence to move forward
Task from sequence can’t be deleted neither rescheduled. These button have been replaced by a skip button in the task management tab.
Snooze task is replaced by Skip button
User must connect Aircall or Ringover to launch a call
Previews
One of the most common sources of stress for SDRs has been the lack of visibility when launching sequences. Without a way to preview how each step will look to the lead, launching a sequence often felt like “shooting in the dark.”
🍬 With the new step-by-step preview, everything changes. Before launching, users can now review every email, LinkedIn action, and call step, with variables filled in, catch errors in real-time, choose the right email address, and make final edits. This gives teams the confidence and control they need to send high-quality outreach, every time.
💡With the new preview you can now:
Display and edit missing variables
Edit sender from your workspace
Edit recipient and enrich email
